Terms of Service

Effective date: August 1, 2026

1. Purpose

These Terms govern your use of the online course service ssaem.work ("Service") operated by SSAEM ("Company").

2. Definitions

  1. "Service" means all online courses, lesson materials, Q&A, and related features provided by the Company.
  2. "Member" means a person who agrees to these Terms and creates an account.
  3. "Enrollment right" means the right to access a specific course.

3. Changes to the Terms

The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by law. Changes will be announced at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to Members).

4. Accounts

  1. You may sign up with an email address or a social account (Google, Kakao, Naver).
  2. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and must not transfer or lend your account to others.

5. Use of the Service

  1. Free courses and preview lessons are available without payment.
  2. Enrollment rights for paid courses are granted upon completed payment and, unless otherwise stated, do not expire.
  3. Enrollment rights are personal to the purchasing Member.

6. Payments and Refunds

  1. Prices for paid courses are shown on each course page.
  2. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable law. If no lessons have been taken, a full refund is available within 7 days of payment. Detailed refund rules will be announced when payment processing launches.

7. Intellectual Property

  1. All content in the Service (videos, lesson materials, etc.) is the property of the Company or the respective instructor.
  2. Content may be used for personal learning only. Copying, distributing, transmitting, modifying, or sharing content with third parties is prohibited.
  3. Violations may result in revocation of enrollment rights and legal action.

8. Member Obligations

Members must not:

  • use another person's account or payment information;
  • copy or distribute content without authorization (including recording or capturing);
  • interfere with the operation of the Service or access it abnormally;
  • post abusive language, advertising, or rights-infringing content in Q&A or reviews.

9. User Posts

  1. Copyright in questions, answers, and reviews belongs to the author; the Company may use them to operate and promote the Service.
  2. The Company may remove posts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

10. Service Changes

The Company may change or discontinue the Service for operational or technical reasons. Material changes unfavorable to paying users will be announced in advance.

11. Disclaimer

  1. The Company is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters or telecommunications failures.
  2. Course content is provided for learning reference; outcomes from applying it are the Member's responsibility.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
